Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Would give 11/5 if the internet allowed it) If you are currently driving a 5th Gen Ram and it starts making a sound like a disgruntled poltergeist trapping itself in your rear axle, do not panic. Do not pull over and cry. Just pray you are within driving distance of this absolute sanctuary of horsepower. We were in the middle of a massive cross-country trek when our Ram 1500 decided to start playing us the song of its people from the rear end. It was a dark, stressful moment. Enter Shelly, the Service Manager and Jesse the Advisor. Jesse didn’t just look at our out-of-state plates and say, "We can fit you in next Tuesday." No. He told Shelly that we were travelers in distress. They looked destiny in the eye, and mobilized their forces. Shelly deployed one of her absolute top-tier, wizard-level technicians to perform an emergency evaluation. This tech didn’t just assess the noise; he expertly interrogated it with something called "Chassis Ears". Within what felt like three minutes, he had diagnosed the issue with the precision of a seasoned cardiac surgeon. They didn't just fix our truck; they saved our entire road trip from becoming an episode of a survival reality show. Epically amazing experience. Fast, professional, and genuinely empathetic to the plight of the road-weary traveler. If Shelly ever decides to run for public office, she has my vote. Get your truck serviced here, or regret it forever! Say hi to Jesse and let him cook! I needed my display screen replaced. I called for an appointment, got in right the very next day. Anticipated waiting several days for the new screen but was very pleasantly surprised when I received a call the very next day that it was in. Again, I was given an appointment the very next day. Chris was wonderful to work with and on top of my service the entire time.

The dealer has more vehicles than dealers I've been to. The sales person was knowledgeable and brought up Chrysler Pacifica to show features that I was asking about. The salesperson had provided great information and incentives when we asked and by comparison to other dealers I got somewhere else, decided to purchase it right off the bat. The sales manager also was very helpful when I asked for info about tax credit for the Pacifica Hybrid plug-in, and printed the info when I asked for details. Thanks for the great service from both. Made an appointment at Palmen Jeep to get some recalls taken care of. Not realizing there is a Palmen in Kenosha, I went to the one in Racine. Chris was fantastic and fit me right in. I felt like an idiot but he treated me kind and like it wasn’t a big deal. He didn’t turn me away and I am very grateful and happy with the attention he and the staff gave me. 10/10 will go back again!

Great experience once Dennis Mohammed (service advisor) took charge of my appointment. I arrived early. Don’t do that because I was made to wait until my appointment time before Dennis was assigned to me and took care of my appointment. Dennis was wonderful, personable, friendly, knowledgeable and made sure everything was done correctly. He even grabbed a coupon I had in the car and applied it to the invoice prior to taking me to check out. Service was done in a timely manner. I will be booking any service with Dennis from now on. First time at PALMEN as we’re new to Wisconsin, and despite the initial hiccup with another service advisor I will be bringing my Jeep back there for service. Thank you, Dennis for a good experience.

As much as I dread having to buy a new car, Bob made it a positive experience for me. In 2 hours I was able to buy a new car, trade my old one in, and drive away with my new car. Had car for one week 2006 Chrysler Pacifica hybrid. Coolant pump failed. Wiring harness took longer than expected to arrive. Once part was in repair went quickly. Under warranty. Oil change. Washed and cleaned inside van.

Love Palmen. Haven't met once person that hasn't said "hello" to me in passing and all are extremely friendly at the Racine location. Patty is always so upbeat, super friendly and will explain the issues at hand with your vehicle in a patient and very easy to understand manner. Always has a smile and it seems like she's happy to see you again when you come in. I like working with Christian as well. Service has always been top quality on my Gladiator which I love, and they seem like they might really like it as well because they always give it great service when it comes in. Ok. So we Hellcat owners are a little fussy. I scheduled an oil change and “free” tire rotation. They were done in about an hour, as promised. They wanted to run it through the car wash; I declined. I said instead can you just wipe off the calipers? He hemmed & hawed a little bit but he agreed to have it done. You just can't get to the calipers with the wheels on, without moving the vehicle a few times to clean the Brembo brake pad dust off. He measured the tires, which were all even at 6/32nds", and asked "Do you still want us to rotate the tires?" I said yes, as I was hearing a slight ryhthmatic tire noise, plus the book calls for rotation at 42k. He also said it would be more expensive next visit, because it requires 8.4 quarts of oil, but this time he used a “coupon”, which kept it at the quoted price. And, of note, the specific brand and type of oil was not indicated on the worksheet. They wanted to change the air filter, for $59.95, but I told them I'd take care of that. I watched a video which tested 5 filters, and ordered a WIX filter from RockAuto for $33 shipped. This filter has the best combination of maximum airflow and filtering for the cost. When I got home, I checked the lug nut torque. The lowest was 75 lb./in., the highest was 120. Most were around 100. Book says 110-125. I drove it home and they settled in a little, which is normal. I'd rather drive it than have them drive it and recheck, plus I’ve used torque sticks and don’t trust them. I torqued the lug nuts to 120 lbs./in. To reiterate; We Hellcat owners are a bit fussy. So, it was an all around good experience, and I'll give them a B+. Thanks again, Rob Robinson. Update: When I got home, I checked the calipers. Still dirty. I really don’t think I was asking too much to wipe off the calipers while the wheels were off. Just wipe them off with an old shop towel. My air filter came in and I went to change it. They lost an air box hold down bolt and substituted a smaller one which was pushed into the hole!!! It WAS in there because I took the entire air box out to neutralize the salt buildup as it was a used vehicle from another dealership in July of 2023. I inquired at the dealership I purchased it from. They told me I’d have to order the entire air box assembly to get the four bolts which hold it securely which would cost me hundreds. I’ll have to re-score them at C-.

The service department was very efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. They also answered several of my questions on screen settings and adjustments. The pricing was fair. 8/13/2024. Had a recall service on my 2022 Ram 1500 yesterday. Scheduling the appointment was easy, and I was able to confirm an appointment within two days of calling. The recall service appointment was friendly and quick. I was in and out within an hour. I was kept updated on the service by text, and the waiting area was pleasant. I have always been pleased with the sales and service staff at Palmen. The only thing I miss is my salesman of many years who has since retired. This salesman relationship goes back many years as I coached Chuck in football his freshmen year of high school.

I was on my way to Door County WI. from St. Louis when my engine blew not to far from Palmen Chrysler. From start to finish it was the best experience I've ever had. Autumn who was my service advisor along with everyone else at the dealership was truly amazing. Since I had to leave my truck up in Racine while I was back in St. Louis I never had any doubts that everything was going to be ok. I know that Autumn Roeder and this dealership went to bat for me to get the approval of a new engine from the extended warranty that I had on my truck and I am so thankful.
