Jeep vehicles are all rugged, stylish and modern. However, there are quite a few to choose from and it can be tough to pick the right one. Today, we’re comparing the 2017 Jeep Cherokee and 2017 Jeep Compass to offer insight into what each model has to offer. Check out the engine specifications, images of the interior, and cargo space measurements of the 2017 Jeep Cherokee vs 2017 Jeep Compass here.

2017 Cherokee vs 2017 Compass Standard Engine Performance

Both the Cherokee and the Compass have a standard four-cylinder engine and an optional six-cylinder for drivers who opt for the 4×4 trim levels.  Both four-cylinder engines produce over 150 horsepower, but the Cherokee’s boosted horsepower and torque ratings give it a more responsive feel. However, when it comes to fuel economy, both the more powerful Cherokee and the Compass achieve up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway.
